“GreenCo” has own sorting complex equipped according to the newest European technologies. It is the first and the biggest for today solid waste sorting complex in Ukraine. The plant was built in 2005.
The overall area of the “GreenCo-Center” is more than 4 hectares, the complex’ itself is about 7750 m2.
The sorting capacity is up to 1 million m3 of hard domestic waste per year. The complex takes for sorting and further utilization domestic waste and commercial sector waste. 90% of overall waste amount for now is domestic waste. Sorting along with separate waste collection is a principal link of the civilized waste treatment system. The secondary raw materials are sorted, pressed and packed according to types: glass, PET, aluminum jars, metal, wastepaper.
