The transportation of waste is realized with a help of 19 special garbage trucks "Mercedes Axor". In conditions of frosty winters these vehicles work reliable. During operating they have established a reputation as extremely sturdy and comfortable for the personnel.
All the vehicles of “GreenCo-Kiev” park are of 2005model year and correspond to “Euro-2” international standard, schedule operating date is 10 years.
The capacity of the vehicle’s body "Mercedes Axor" is 22 m3 (set of 3 axes) and and 15 m3 (2 axes). The inner mechanism of a vehicle set with 3 axes allows to press 55 m3 of domestic waste to 22 m3 (press coefficient 2.5 - 3). For approach to a container ground a garbage truck needs no less than 3 m of space in width and 4 m in height.
The crew of each truck consists of 3 persons – a driver and 2 loaders.
One truck serves a root from 5 to 15 km (communal enterprise) or 30 km (other customers). Considering the way to polygon, to sorting center “GreenCo-Center” or to the plant “Energia” the whole length of the root will be 120-130 km. One car takes the root three times in a shift.
Due to double-shift work each car is in operation fir 18-20 hours per day. It allows to reach good economic results. The amount of waste, removed by one car reaches 8,0 thousands m3.
The cars of “GreenCo-Kiev” contain on each body a symbol of an ant and logo of the company, what makes it recognizable, and the company takes all responsibility for the quality of provided service.
“GreenCo-Kiev” has up to 4000 of modern containers of 1100L
The basis of the container stock is a plastic container of 69kg weight CLE type 1100 (the producer – “Elkoplast” Firm, Czech Republic).
Besides, “GreenCo-Kiev” serves another containers too. Such containers are made of persistent corrosion steel DCO1/DD 11 (according to DIN) of 1mm thickness and zinc covering of 75 microns thickness. These containers also have mechanisms for opening, capture blackest and rubber strips for waste isolation from getting wet.
The weight of each container is 110 kg, the waste capacity is 1.1m3.
According to the customers needs “GreenCo-Kiev” gives the containers according to a contract of sale or lease.
Since October 2006 the vehicle park of the “GreenCo-Kiev” company has been extended with containers for separate waste collection of closed type. These containers have been successfully functioning in all developed countries and now they will become an important element of waste treatment approach and will help to make an appreciable contribution to environmental safeguarding.
