"GreenCo" is distinguished not only by beautiful modern refuse collectors and aesthetic containers. The technologies, which are used in the work of companies of the “GreenCo” group, the technologies, which correspond to the international standards and to the newest innovations in the field of the waste treatment are distinguished the brand from the number of others operators of the market.
In particular:
1. System of separate solid domestic waste collection by population.
Separate HDW collection is the basis of the European model of the waste treatment. The introduction of the given technology allows lowering ecological and sanitary-epidemiologic loading that is extremely actual in the conditions of poor quality and the settled resource of the majority of domestic landfills. In Europe from HDW are taken about 80 % of valuable resources components, thereby reducing of burial place volume by 80%. In Ukraine this size is only about 5 %.
The introduction of separate collection can be carried out in two ways, depending on the type of sorting complex.
The first way is the two-fractional separate collection. The 2 containers are installed at the container ground. One container is for collection of valuable resources fractions (glass, metal, paper for recycling, plastic), and the second one is for the waste which cannot be processed - packing and food waste.
The second way is four-fractional separate collection.
The waste is sorted in 4 containers of different colors: yellow is for paper waste, dark blue is for polyethylene, green is for glass, grey is for food waste.
2. Sorting of solid domestic waste with the subsequent packing of the materials, which can be used as a recyclable materials.
The full cycle of the waste treatment provides the presence of a sorting complex. All waste should be sorted for the second time by the components for the increase of value of secondary materials. "GreenCo-centre" is the first and the largest for today the sorting complex in Ukraine, which was built using new European technologies of the waste treatment. The plant was built in 2005. The total area of territory of the complex makes over 4 hectares, directly sorting complex occupies 7 750 ì2. The operating sorting line is capable to process nearly 1 million m3 of solid domestic waste per year. The recyclable materials are sorted, pressed and packed according to types: glass, polyethylene, aluminum jars, metal, and paper for recycling. Today «GreenCo» continues increasing the capacities of the complex, introducing the program of increase of volumes and depths of processing.
3. The manufacture of alternative fuel. "GreenCo" company introduces the new project of manufacture of alternative fuel.
The fraction, which is called “tails” remains after sorting of recyclable materials. This fraction can be used for manufacturing of alternative fuel, for example, on cement works or thermoelectrostation. The method of alternative fuel’s using in the course of manufacture is by itself. The prepared material moves through the special torch in trowel and burns down there at the temperature of 1600 - 1800°Ñ. The fine demising of ashes is got combined with cement and the waste disappear. Because of burning heats there are no harmful exhaust gases, they burn down in towel. A number of the gauging, which were provided all over the world, confirms the wasteless of burning. It can be replaced nearly 55% of necessary energy with the help of usage of alternative fuel.
4. The usage of satellite system of navigation GPS.
The movable structure of enterprise is equipped by satellite system of GPS-navigation which opens the big possibilities for monitoring of process of removal and overload, and allows supervising in a mode all working process on-line. Using the GPS system, "GreenCo" optimizes the routes for the purpose of the maximum satisfaction of requirements of customers, minimization of expenses on transportation and reduction of emissions in environment. The system essentially raises the efficiency of logistical decisions and lifts managing process by transport on qualitatively other level.
5. Reloading stations Building and operation.
“GreenCo” uses the reloading stations in some regions for decreasing of time and resource expenses for solid domestic waste removal. So, in December, 2008 the Donetsk enterprise of Group built and opened the reloading station in Donetsk which allows to reduce the run of garbage trucks and to transport considerably great volumes of the waste with usage of large-capacity garbage trucks. The station has the territory of 36õ22 m, fenced with four-meter plates. On an internal part of a platform there is a deepening in 1, 6 m, covered by ferro-concrete plates; it serves for convenience of unloading of transport. The station brings considerable ecology-economic benefit: the transit time, which is necessary for service of territory of individual building, is reduced more than in twice - with 255 to 103 km, that helps to reduce the expense of fuel with 123 to 62 l and increase the productivity of transport from two to three runs.
The car of type "multilift" on the basis of the chassis «Mercedes-Benz Astros 3340» for overloading of solid domestic waste, and the devices for lifting of the body of German firm "Matler" and «Mercedes-Benz Astros 3340» with semi trailers of German firm «Swissmuller SPA 3/Å» are used. The waste loading is carried out by wheel loaders of manufacture «Katerpiller» and «Manitu». The solid domestic waste is delivered on large-sized transport to recycling place.
6. Bulky waste removal.
For removal of an oversized waste and fallen leaves the company uses cars of type "multilift" on the basis of the chassis «Ìersedes-benz Actros 3340», devices for lifting of the body of German firm "Mayler". Advantages of these cars are the presence of replaceable body in volume of 25 ì3 and 35 ì3. One car can serve some bodies that allow using techniques effectively.
For large-sized waste collection in the capacity of 25-35 m3 the special metal containers are used. The main advantages of containers of this type are possibility of their installation for accumulation and the subsequent removal of considerable volumes of the waste.
