We pay a great attention to running different actions aimed at involvement of the society in the solution and prevention of ecological problems of the city. On the 28th of March “GreenCo-Zhitomir” took part in the international ecological action “Hour of Earth”. On that day at 20.30 the employees of the company and the members of their families switched off all the optional power supplies for an hour. The aim of the company was to join the people of the Earth in a struggle against global warming. The first action of this kind took place in Sydney in 2007 when 2.2 million of households and organizations switched off the light for an hour. Our company completely shares the idea laid in the basis of the company. We consider the initiative like “Hour of Earth” to be very important as contributing to minimization of the anthropogenic climate shift so considerable for ecological oriented people’s world outlook forming.
“GreenCo-group” and its employees systematically provide charity support to children’s houses, trying not just to be limited with financial support, but also to spend time with children. Besides, we always try to support people who address to us in need of special-purpose help concerning medical care (operation payment, wheelchair purchase, etc.) and of other issues of social character.
